BEM USA : A Taste of Belgium event (08/06) - Questionnaire
Please fill in this questionnaire to prepare your participation in the “Taste of Belgium” event, which takes place in the framework of the “Belgian American Trade in Food and Drinks” program in New York on Wednesday 8th June.
Introduction of the event
During the Belgian Economic Mission to the USA the 3 Belgian foreign trade agencies (AWEX, FIT and hub.brussels), Fevia (the Federation of the Belgian Food Industry) and VLAM (Flanders’ Agricultural Marketing Board) offer a full-day program for the food & drink companies in the delegation.
The program consists of 3 parts:
- Workshop “The ins and outs of the US Food and Drink Market” (8:00-9:45, Marriott Marquis)
- “Taste of Belgium” event (10:00-13:30, Aliz Hotel)
- B2B program (13:30-17:00, Aliz Hotel)
The “Taste of Belgium” event is a tasting and networking event. The event gives the Belgian food and drink companies the opportunity to showcase their products to their US clients and prospects on the one hand and to the Belgian officials (HRH Princess Astrid and Belgian Ministers) on the other. The event will take place at the 41st floor of the trendy Aliz Hotel, with a beautiful view on the New York skyline.
The “Taste of Belgium” event is divided in 2 parts:
- PART 1 10:50 – 11:25 Opening of the event by HRH Princess Astrid and Belgian Ministers
- PART 2: 11:45– 13:30 Tasting & networking lunch with US clients and prospects
To set up for this event, all participants are expected to be at the Aliz hotel at 10:00, after the morning workshop. You will collectively leave the Marriott Marquis at 9:45. You will be guided by one of the organisers.
Delivery of goods
Please note that, if you wish to participate in this event, you are responsible for the timely delivery of your samples and accessories (eg. glasses) at the venue. There will be no facilitation from the organisers of the event for shipment or delivery.
- You should foresee sampling of your product for 80 guests.
